GET THE LOOK: JAPANESE MOTIFS IN MARQUETRY JEWELLERY WITH SILVIA FURMANOVICH

My jewellery world has become an eclectic mix of cultures: my own, the ones of countries I explore and the ones of the destinations that inspire the stunning jewels I discover. The elegant pastel look I wore for Couture Design Awards ceremony in Las Vegas is inspired by this wonderful feeling! As a judge, I wanted to dress in something truly special, echoing the shades of the sunset over Nevada desert and paying a tribute to the land of the rising sun with Japan inspired jewelry by Silvia Furmanovich.

For this look, I adorned myself with marquetry jewelry from the new Japan-inspired Obi collection by Silvia Furmanovich, the winner of Las Vegas Couture Design Awards in the Innovative category. The stunning fan, marquetry blush chrysanthemum clutch and tassel pearl necklace that I picked all mimic the original Japanese kimono sash fabrics of the past centuries. My final sparkly detail – elegant statement peach butterfly earrings with morganite gemstones!

I decided to wear a beautiful pastel blue dress by Birger Christensen to act as a subtle backdrop for Silvia Furmanovich Japan inspired jewelry. In signature GEMOLOGUE style, I just couldn’t resist adding an edgy touch to my dainty outfit with the vivd citrus orange eyeshadow and statement embroidered pumps by Dries Van Noten.
