GET THE LOOK: HOW TO ACCESSORISE BRIDESMAID DRESS, LAKE COMO WEDDING
I love how weddings have become a three-day surreal and evocative celebrations of love in most beautiful locations in the world! The two weddings of my dear friends in Vietnam and here in Lake Como Villa Balbiano will be hard to forget…
I was completely mesmerised by surreal atmosphere created by NuArt Events at the Lake Como wedding. Guests were welcomed by blooming girls and bizarre gardeners. The groom arrived by water plane and the bride sailed to the ceremony on a floral boat decorated by the well-known Vincenzo Dascanio Production.
I was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding and followed the red dress code with the flowing Reformation dress. One of the toughest decisions for a bridesmaid is how to accessorise your bridesmaid dress in order to make your individuality shine through. As a jewellery tastemaker, my top tip is to pick modern bridesmaid jewellery. For me the best bridesmaid necklace idea for a V-neck red dress was a show-stopping rubelite and paraiba tourmaline pendant necklace by Ara Vartanian! For my ears, I chose feather earrings by AS29 to show off my innocent angelic side.
Never underestimate the power of makeup and hair. I chose subtle, pastel tones and accessorized my wavy hair with natural flowers. Finishing touch – Gianvito Rossi shoes. You want to look fabulous, but also don’t want to miss out on all the fun if your feet are hurting from crazy high heels.
I hope my bridesmaid jewellery tips will help you rock the modern bridesmaid style of weddings this year! Share with me in comments why you love attending weddings.
