BIRTHDAY GET THE LOOK: HOW TO CREATE UNIQUE PENDANT
I believe in birthday getaways. It’s the best way to unwind and prepare your body for receiving the gift from the universe: an energy boost for the upcoming year! Last time I went to the spiritual island of Bali, this year I decided to pamper myself at Six Senses Kaplankaya in the lavish green scenery of Bodrum, Turkey.
On this special day I decided to share the love with my followers and organised a GEMOLOGUE Birthday Giveaway of the book about my birthstone: the emerald.
I started my morning with Turkish delight and freshly baked pistachio baklava, followed by a Kaplankaya Signature Hammam treatment with an anti-ageing green clay body mask infused with rose essential oil. Feeling refreshed and reenergised we took a Tesla ride to to a candlelight romantic dinner at Anhinga by the coast. A truly magical evening to remember and treasure for years to come!
To match the beautiful blue sky and the sunlight playing on the waves I chose a sparkly dress by Kukhareva. To feel even more special on this day I put together a unique necklace. Every charm I used is a good talking point, and there’s something talismanic about all of them.
My perfect personalised pendant consists of the following charms:
1. Quirky Samira 13 baroque pearl with a sprinkle of sapphires for my fun personality
2. Crystal from Brazil to keep me energised
3. Elsa Peretti Tiffany gold heart symbolising my endless love for this life
4. Little Mikimoto Tahitian pearl highlighting my sensual feminine side
5. Adjustable Monica Vinader sliding bead yellow gold chain for years to come
You can put together your own one-of-a-kind DIY pendant necklace too! Search for key personal ingredients – small rings, pearls, charms, gifts from the loved ones, family heirlooms, purchases to mark milestones, accumulated over the years – and assemble them onto a long chain. This will be your most personal piece of jewellery. It’s not what it says to the viewer, but what it means to the wearer! Learn more about the art of jewellery self-expression. ⠀
Thanks for stopping by! What is your dream birthday getaway? Share with me in comments!
