MY BRIDAL LOOK: WEDDING UNDERWATER LUNCH, MALDIVES

The day after the ceremony the two families joined together for lunch for an underwater Maldivian experience: an undersea restaurant located 5 metres below sea level. The wedding lunch location was slightly unusual (to say the least) but undeniably beautiful. Even though we had some minor bumps in the beginning, like rain and clouds impeding our view of the sea, eventually the weather cleared up, and the emerging sunlight revealed an immense amount and variety of captivating underwater life. During our lunch we were able to see many fish and even a few sharks!

I only had one month to find the perfect wedding dress for my wedding ceremony so I ended up getting 3 bridal looks for two days’ wedding, and this look turned out to be the most affordable of the bunch. I am wearing a lace Topshop mini dress and overskirt by Katie Mayspotted at the Wedding Club. I have paired it with a stunning 3-metres long Fluid Gold necklace by H.Stern. This necklace is composed of hundreds of tiny textured gold cylinders and can be worn in more than ten different ways. As a necklace it can be used with long loops, shorter loops or like a choker; or it can be wrapped around the wrist like a flexible bracelet.
