Well today, my happy jewellery lovers, I’ve found preciousness in the tiny details in Rio de Janeiro. Day and night, I have been rocking this 18K gold LOLA necklace by LEAL JOIAS. With my initial surrounded by 2.5 mm Emerald, Tanzanite, Sapphire, Amethyst, Peridot, Tourmaline and Orange Citrine Quartz gemstones, I feel the inherent properties of the jewels protecting me.

I can’t help but feel that after the unbelievably challenging year we have just had, colourful jewels have played a big role in getting us through it. The Lola Necklace was created based on LEAL JOIAS founders Patricia and Paola’s desire to design a “tattoo piece” that would adorn the skin as if drawn like a tattoo. To reach this goal, they chose to work with a Nylon Thread used by Brazilian fishermen that creates the illusion of floating gemstones on the skin.
