JEWELRY & FASHION-FORWARD PACKING, NOBU HOTEL MARBELLA

If are looking for ideas for a chic city break or for an exotic destination, I’m going to have it covered. Here is my jewellery & fashion diary from the latest trip to Nobu Hotel Marbella.

GETTING THERE

45 minutes by car from the Malaga airport.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Very friendly, boutique- style entrance with private members lounge full of gluten free snacks (exactly what I needed after a morning flight!). This adults-only lifestyle resort at the luxurious Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa on the ‘Golden Mile’ is the perfect escape for daytime relaxation by the beach and for partying until the break of dawn, should you choose to have some nighttime fun!

ROOM

I stayed in one of the Junior Suites, generously sized with elegant interiors in a rich, natural palette and with exclusive Nobu bedding. I loved the stylish marble bathroom with rain-fall showers and I was delighted to find my favourite Spanish products by Natura Bisse! Floor to ceiling doors lead out onto the furnished terrace, ideal for watching the bustling nightlife of the Plaza and gardens.

POOL

Private Nobu pool with a bar was definitely my favourite place to chill with a glass of champagne surrounded by postcard perfect white architecture in a secluded spot. The resort itself has 3 or 4 more pools.

PARTY

It is convent to have a room next door to Marbella’s chicest nightclub – La Suite nightclub – where the party rolls on until 7am with great music. I did not miss a night in the 4 days I stayed there.

DINING

I was happy to experience Nobu’s Matsuhisa restaurant, run by Nobu’s first female Executive Chef, with signature dishes as well as special creations inspired by local flavours. The quality of food was exactly the same as as in London Next door to the hotel there are ten more restaurants including the two-Michelin star ‘Dani Garcia’.

THE VERDICT

Family like atmosphere charged with a sense of being a part of something rather extraordinary. Perfect for a fantastic party!
