MAISON DAUPHIN RING REVIEW
The Dauphin cage-like ring is a not a ring as you know it: it is a sculptural object and an ultimate showstopper. Fine jewellery is no longer about large diamonds and amounts of precious stones: it is all about alternate, attention-grabbing and beautiful designs that will go well with any type of outfit, be it casual or glamorous.
Design

The Dauphin ring is the embodiment of wearable art. This voluminous, yet exquisite ring is crafted from rose gold and set with 1.63 carats brilliant pave diamonds. As soon as you see the design of this ring, you instantly know that everybody will be talking about it. This ring has been gaining momentum over the last few months, and it is the piece you would want to get if you would like to dazzle the crowd.
I decided to wear this striking ring on the day I had four events to attend and a couple of interviews to conduct. The immense amount of attention that this jewel attracted surprised even me! Its unique minimalistic architectural design with beautifully set glittering diamonds added an unmissable sparkle to my look that day.
A ring has always been the means to express yourself and your personality. The unbroken circle holds a multitude of meanings: ether a symbol of eternal love or a fashion accessory, the history of rings is well documented in the jewellery room at V&A. Initially a simple hoop around a finger, it has allowed contemporary jewellery to interpret it in a multitude of creative and unexpected ways. And Charlotte Dauphin de la Rochefoucauld, the head designer behind Dauphin, has certainly done a first-rate and imaginative job!
This futuristic Dauphin jewel with unique geometric design is rocking the jewellery world. You can find see it for youself in Dover Street Market in London and Colette in Paris.
