JEWELRY & FASHION-FORWARD PACKING, BULGARI RESORT BALI

If are looking for ideas for a chic city break or for an exotic destination, I’m going to have it covered. Here is my jewellery & fashion diary from the latest trip to Bulgari Resort Bali.

GETTING THERE

Bulgari Resort Bali is a 25-minute taxi ride from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The resort is located on the southern tip of the Jimbaran Peninsula, close to the Temple of Uluwatu.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

To celebrate my 30th Birthday, I traveled to a secluded Bulgari Resort Bali. I was blown away by the stunning setting of the hotel: it is perched on a cliff and offers spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. The hotel is a beautiful blend of traditional Balinese architecture and contemporary Italian design by Antonio Citterio. Bulgari Resort Bali is a luxury haven with 59 Villas and 5 Mansions, it offers a beach club, three restaurants, a bar, an oceanfront spa and an infinity pool. It is absolutely perfect for honeymooners!

ROOM

My spacious Ocean view villa with a chic tropical garden was a perfect place to celebrate my birthday! I particularly loved the enormous volcanic black stone bathroom with the Bulgari cosmetics brand. The interior was decorated with pieces of antique Balinese art and equipped with a Bang & Olufsen audio/video system. Every day, I was completely mesmerised by the stunning views of the ocean.

BUTLER
How convenient, right!

POOL

The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was very pretty and it never felt crowded by the guests.

CLIFF-EDGE

I loved taking the inclined elevator ride from a dramatic cliff where Bulgari is positioned. It’s one of the longest rides of its kind in the world, with fantastic views from its open-sided carriage that really stays in your memory. It stops near the beach club restaurant and a troop of monkeys.

BEACH

The white tramadol no prescription sand beach between the cliff and the water’s edge is inaccessible to the general public from both ground and sea, as it is protected by a coral reef. If you are feeling brave, you can reach it by swimming.

SPA
For my birthday I had 4 hands Balinese massage with warm volcanic stones; it was one the best experiences I have had in Bali. I booked the following day just to be certain and to continue my birthday celebration. The oceanfront Spa embraces all of the elements of Balinese tradition. The main pavilion is an antique, hand-carved joglo house from the island of Java, which was dismantled, relocated, then authentically recreated at the Bulgari Resort!

DINING

For my birthday celebration I was invited to the opening of Il Ristorante Luca Fantin which serves creative and modern interpretations of Italian cuisine blended with local, organic ingredients. The first flagship Michelin-starred Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin is located in Tokyo’s Bvlgari Ginza Tower. On other nights I indulged in many delicious Balinese dishes at the poolside Sangkar restaurant.

WEDDING CHAPEL
There’s also an enigmatic, modernist-style wedding chapel to renew your vows, maybe one day!

THE VERDICT

Stunning honeymoon heaven, perfect for a two-person romantic trip to unwind and  be pampered.
