Last Sunday, Sloane Square was gemified to turn into a sparkling blanket of gold glitter by dozens of jewellery lovers!

GEMOLOGUE, an award-winning jewellery blog by Liza Urla, organised the first #Gemify campaign to sprinkle some glitter, love and kindness around this Christmas!

I wanted to gemify London by covering it with diamonds in anticipation of Christmas, thus turning the city into a glittering feast for the eyes and the soul. My ultimate idea would be to sprinkle the city with diamonds, however I decided to start with baby steps by gemifying one of London’s most beautiful squares.

In anticipation of Christmas, a time to be filled with love and kindness, I was joined by dozens of friends and volunteers who wanted to be a part of this beautiful, sparkling act.

They sprinkled some peace and kindness on Sloane Square by blowing a handful of love-filled glitter into the wind!
