CHOPARD’S GREEN CARPET LAUNCH OF FIRST E-BOUTIQUE IN EUROPE ANNABEL’S LONDON
Fresh from the glitter and glamour of the Cannes Festival, Chopard arrived in London to launch their first Chopard e-boutique in Europe, and yours truly was in attendance to bring you all the latest from this established and magnificent jewellery house.
Hosted in Annabel’s Mayfair – this place brings back great memories. The last time I was here, I danced with Kate Moss to the sounds of Grace Jones. One of the best nights I’ve ever had there!
This time I’m decked out in Chopard’s latest Fairmined Palme Verte Jewellery, listening to the groovy beats of DJ Zara Martin and drinking Chopard Cocktails in Annabel’s Garden…
Loving my Panama hat from designer… and mingling with Chopard’s Managing Director and Anish Bhatt – the Instagram King of Watches.
Only two minutes into the conversation and we’re already talking Chopard Watches and Watch Anish and WatchTheSpace.com!
But back to jewellery and Palme Verte, the name of Chopard’s latest collection is a hat tip (in this case a Panama hat!) to Chopard’s long history with the Cannes Festival and the Palme d’Or trophy, beautifully designed by Co-President and Creative Director Caroline Scheufele.
Now Chopard has brought this inspiration into an exclusive online jewellery collection, their first diffusion jewellery collection in ethical gold – available only through their e-Boutique for a limited time.
The Palme Verte collection features a pair of stunning earrings, an elegant pendant, an impossible-not-to-like ring, and a statement bracelet. Sophisticated enough for every day. I love that!
The other thing I love about this collection is Chopard‘s commitment to sustainable luxury. Using fairmined gold means following a high level of standard and producing ethical jewellery. And that’s good for the environment and the people whose lives revolve around gold mining as a means of survival.
Chopard and Annabel’s really spoiled us at this exclusive launch. As I soaked up the ambiance, my thoughts drifted away to a small village in Switzerland, the birthplace of Chopard back in 1860.
And I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement at being a part of this long-surviving brand on a night celebrating so many firsts.
Heading home after the launch, I bumped into one of my girlfriends and changed her mind about online shopping for jewellery. I said, Men love shopping online for gifts! This just makes it even easier for them! Of course, she agreed!
