ARA VARTANIAN’S WORLD OF GEMS AND DIAMONDS, CIDADE JARDIM, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL
We know how to sparkle in Brazil with diamonds and Paraiba tourmalines.
If you read 10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BRAZILIAN JEWELLERY STYLE, it will be no surprise to you that Brazilians know their diamonds. I wanted to experience this wonderful world of gemstones for myself, so I travelled to São Paulo in search of the most magnificent jewels this country has to offer.
Home to some of the finest shopping in the world, Cidade Jardim (Garden City) in São Paulo is the place to be. Covering some 78 thousand square metres, Cidade Jardim has more than 180 luxury boutiques, including Ara Vartanian. Famous for his opulent and innovative jewellery design, Vartanian is credited for bringing the double and three finger ring sets to the market. He is also one of the first jewellers to incorporate inverted diamonds into his unique designs.
Born into a family of jewellers, Ara Vartanian spares no expense when it comes to the size of his gemstones. As you will see in the photos below, only the highest quality gems go into Vartanian’s jewellery. No compromise.

Ara Vartanian’s style is unmistakable. His bold and daring creations have captured the attention of Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler and Céline Dion.
I fell in love with Ara Vartanian’s double and three finger ring sets – incredible.
You can see why Kate Moss places this Paraiba tourmaline at the top of her list. Look at that stunning neon glow, perfectly complemented with a black diamond necklace.
Wearing so many flawless diamonds is enough to drive you mental!
