Another creative project by GEMOLOGUE Photographer Julia Flit, this time under the influence of the world’s most innovative photographer, Nick Knight.

As muse, model, and crazy friend, I couldn’t resist sharing my experience with you.

Chosen from 4,000 applicants, Julia is among some of the most talented photographers enrolled in Nick Knight’s exclusive four-month program.

Nick Knight’s iconic editorials have featured in Vogue, W magazine and Dazed & Confuzed, and he has worked with some of my favourite designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano. He is also the director of SHOWStudio on Motcomb Street in Knightsbridge – how I love this place! Not to mention his award-winning website. It’s an exploration of fashion through photography, moving images, and illustration.

I couldn’t wait to get involved with Julia’s first photographpy assignment.

It was a romantic theme for Oyster magazine out of Australia.

I was exhausted from my trip with CHANEL in Paris and my whirlwind flight path from NYC to Nice, Monaco, Paris and back home to London again. So happy I got to model lying down.

My contribution was an earring by APM Monaco in the shape of a pin, adorned with pearls – to make the oysters feel at home!

Romance is clearly a persistent, persuasive and unrealistic myth, yet it often completely engulfs our minds. Pink clouds, flowers and unicorns? Forget about these! In the fast pace society of today, people rarely have romantic relationships. The strongest aphrodisiacs now are money, power and connections… ah, and of course the oysters! JULIA FLIT
