NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD PRESENTS EVA FEHREN WITH GEMOLOGUE, LONDON

Running into the New Year at the Nicholas Kirkwood flagship boutique in Mayfair, the fabulous shoe designer will feature a bevy of creative guests, including the talented jewellery designer Eva Fehren. I’m so glad you could join me! This was the first time Eva has showed her jewellery in London, and I’m happy so many of you showed up to Nicholas Kirkwood Presents to give her a warm welcome. I was worried we would run out of champagne! It was a honour to be asked to host this event and a great pleasure to get to know the NYC designer Eva Fehren and her modern jewellery.

I’m a big fan of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. I wore his pearl shoes while I was covering Jewellery Arabia Bahrain, and speaking at the JCK LUXURY show in Las Vegas. If you follow me, you know my obsession with pearls from my pearl face to my shoes! And Nicholas knows how to make pearls edgy!

I hope you had a chance to attend this event. It was a great opportunity for me to present Eva and Nicholas to all you jewellery lovers. These two creative artists both draw their inspiration from the urban landscape of New York City, with its geometric architecture. Nicholas tried his hand at designing jewellery, and Eva has been collaborating with various brands. Notice the canvas on the walls behind me. It’s the same artwork you’ll find in Eva’s topaz jewellery and the new TUMI collection. It’s a motif that repeats itself in Nicholas Kirkwood shoes as well, so they are a good match for a collab.

“I am fascinated by the way Eva approaches jewellery. There are a lot of similarities buy ambien online between our design codes, which I think comes across quite clearly when you visit the pop-up space. Her jewellery complements the footwear in store beautifully.” Nicholas Kirkwood

As designers, Nicholas and Eva both create body adornments that are bold, graphic and luxurious. Eva Fehren’s jewellery designs are definitely on trend and very NYC. With ear cuffs and piercings, and stackable jewellery, it’s the kind of modern jewellery you can wear every day. Eva’s fresh take on the engagement ring stack, I just love and want every single one! They look amazing with my engagement ring. Oh, how my fiancé will suffer! Let me know in the comments below what you think.

There’s still lots of time to visit the Nicholas Kirkwood x Eva Fehren jewellery pop-up, so I hope you treat yourself to maybe something to dress up your engagement ring or ear lobes, or what about some fabulous Nicholas Kirkwood shoes? It’s almost Christmas, so go ahead and indulge!
