VERDURA BLUE OPPENHEIMER DIAMOND RING REVIEW

If you’re looking for a heart-stopping diamond ring for your sweetheart, then reach deep into your pockets. The Oppenheimer Blue diamond is on the market and is estimated to fetch $45 million at Christie’s, Geneva.

The Oppenheimer Blue diamond is such a rare and exquisite stone, it is currently on a world tour and living like a rockstar! I was lucky enough to try it on during a brief stop in London, and it was the most amazing experience ever! I honestly think my heart stopped beating for what seemed like an eternity. Seriously! This ring should carry a warning, because it will literally take your breath away!

WHAT KIND OF CRAFTSMANSHIP GOES INTO THIS OPPENHEIMER DIAMOND RING?

Gazing into the facets of this extraordinary blue diamond, was like studying a Verdura masterpiece. A Mona Lisa, to paraphrase Christie’s Francois Curiel of the diamond world.

The precision in this emerald cut diamond is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. All 14.62 carats shine with a clarity that is unique to fancy vivd blue diamonds. There are only about 1% of them on the world, and few are of this size.

WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THIS BLUE OPPENHEIMER DIAMOND  RING?

The Oppenheimer Blue diamond has a very good provenance, as it was given this title by its original owner, Sir Philip Oppenheimer, a highly respected leader in the diamond world. He made his fortune from the De Beers Mining Company, and has a jewellery collection to die for!

HOW UNIQUE IS THIS BLUE OPPENHEIMER DIAMOND RING?

Fancy Vivid Blue diamonds are extremely rare and the classic emerald cut, which I just love by the way, is unusual too. The thing I love the most about blue diamonds and this one in particular is its colour. So clear and pacifying, you just get lost in it. Blue diamonds owe their unique hue to boron. The higher the boron, the richer the hue.

WHY BUY A BLUE OPPENHEIMER DIAMOND RING?

This ring is the king of diamonds, owned by the King of Diamonds! No question! The chances of ever finding another diamond like this again in your lifetime is slim to none. Blue diamonds are unique in their rarity but also in their popularity. And these diamonds aren’t just for the ladies; men love them too!
