Lizzie Fortunato Birds of Paradise necklace is very en vogue; recently, we have seen a proliferation of tribal-inspired jewellery, seen widely across catwalks and fashion magazines. This particular neckpiece is definitely one of the best and most luxurious takes on the tribal trend that we have come across; Lizzie Fortunato Birds of Paradise necklace is a piece of jewellery you would want to invest to if this tribal trend is your cup of tea.

Lizzie Fortunato Birds of Paradise necklace is certainly an eye-catching piece; this is the kind of jewellery that you want to wear in order to be the centre of everyone’s attention (in the best possible way!). This is a necklace that requires the simplest outfits in as a perfect complement; perhaps a dark-coloured silky polo neck top and a leather skirt, or a low-cut little black dress?

Lizzie Fortunato Birds of Paradise necklace is made from burgundy feathers and gunmetal plated brass chains, which are interwoven with nude leather. This neckpiece is a very beautiful combination of deep autumn colours. We absolutely love the iridescence of the feathers; they are not simply burgundy, but seem to change colour beautifully as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes. This necklace is very well made: both of inspected from the top and the bottom, which in our eyes justifies the relatively high price tag attached. The large leaf closure at the back is very intricate and gorgeous; it is one of the key elements of the necklace, rather than simply just a clasp!

As soon as we took this necklace out of the box a couple of little feathers already seemed to have separated themselves. On closer inspection, we came to a conclusion that the feathers are, in fact, very well stitched together, but any feather piece is a fragile thing, and is not something you would be able to wear on many occasions. However, we do love the unusual texture of feathers, and simply stroking this necklace is very tempting indeed!

Lizzie Fortunato Birds of Paradise necklace is definitely a show-stopper and very alluring; it instantly catches the eye of another and emphasises your neck in the best possible way. We think that it would look best with a simple evening outfit, such as a black dress, because it is such a gorgeous, seductive statement piece in itself. But do make sure that your neck is somehow covered up underneath!
